Windows

Cable Only

Step One

  1. Insert the PlayStation 3 Controller.
  2. Download the DS3 Server Archive.
  3. Push Win + R. Type %SystemDrive%. Select OK.
  4. Extract the DS3 Server folder, in the location which just opened.

Step Two

  1. Navigate to \DS3 Server\Binaries\ and find Driver Installer.exe.
  2. Run Driver Installer.exe. Disable the Bluetooth checkbox. Select Install.

Cable and Bluetooth

Step One

  1. Insert the PlayStation 3 Controller.
  2. Download the DS3 Server Archive.
  3. Push Win + R. Type %SystemDrive%. Select OK.
  4. Extract the DS3 Server folder, in the location which just opened.

Step Two

  1. Navigate to \DS3 Server\Binaries\Zadig\ and find Zadig.exe.
  2. Run Zadig.exe. Insert the Bluetooth Dongle.

Step Three

  1. Select the Bluetooth Dongle from the Dropdown Menu.
  2. Select Install Driver or Upgrade Driver. Alternatively, Replace Driver.

Step Four

  1. Navigate to \DS3 Server\Binaries\ and find Driver Installer.exe.
  2. Run Driver Installer.exe. Enable the Bluetooth checkbox. Select Install.
  3. Detach the PlayStation 3 Controller.

Removing the Drivers

Step One

  1. Disable the Internet Connection.
  2. Navigate to \DS3 Server\Binaries\ and find Driver Installer.exe.
  3. Run Driver Installer.exe. Enable the Bluetooth checkbox. Select Uninstall.

Step Two

  1. Navigate to \DS3 Server\Binaries\Zadig\Driver\ and find YourDevice.inf.
  2. Right Click on YourDevice.inf. Select Rename. Copy the name and write it down.

Step Three

  1. Push Win + R. Type DevMgmt.msc. Select OK.
  2. Open the Bluetooth Devices and the Universal Serial Bus Devices.
  3. Find the YourDevice name from Step Two - Removing the Drivers.
  4. Right Click on YourDevice. Select Uninstall Device.
  5. Enable Delete the Driver Software for This Device. Select Uninstall.

Step Four

  1. Detatch the PlayStation 3 Controller.
  2. Detatch the Bluetooth Dongle.
  3. Restart the Computer.

Turning Off and Restarting the Controller

Instructions

  1. Hold L1 + R1 + Center PlayStation Button until the lights are Off.
  2. Push the Center PlayStation Button to turn it On.
