Cable Only

Step One

  1. Insert the PlayStation 3 Controller. Download the DS3 Server Archive.
  2. Push Win + R. Type %SystemDrive% and Select OK.

Step Two

  1. Open the DS3 Server.7z Archive.
  2. Extract the DS3 Server folder to the New Window.

Step Three

  1. Push Win + R. Type %SystemDrive%\DS3 Server\Binaries\Driver Installer.exe and Select OK.
  2. Disable the Bluetooth Check Box. Select Install.

Setting Up

  1. Buy a Bluetooth Dongle. Buy Only One.
  2. Plugable USB-BT4LE, ASUS USB-BT400 from Amazon.

Step One

  1. Insert the PlayStation 3 Controller. Download the DS3 Server Archive.
  2. Push Win + R. Type %SystemDrive% and Select OK.
  3. Extract the DS3 Server Folder. To %SystemDrive%

Step Two

  1. Push Win + R. Type %SystemDrive%\DS3 Server\Binaries\Bluetooth\Zadig.exe and Select OK.
  2. Insert the Bluetooth Dongle.

Step Three

  1. Select the Bluetooth Dongle from the Dropdown Menu.
  2. Select Install Driver or Upgrade Driver. Alternatively, Replace Driver.

Step Four

  1. Push Win + R. Type %SystemDrive%\DS3 Server\Binaries\Driver Installer.exe and Select OK.
  2. Enable the Bluetooth Check Box. Select Install.
  3. Detach the PlayStation 3 Controller.

Instructions

  1. Disable Your Internet Connection
  2. Push Win + R. Type %SystemDrive%\DS3 Server\Binaries\Driver Installer.exe and Select OK.
  3. Disable the Bluetooth checkbox. Select Uninstall.

Step One

  1. Disable Your Internet Connection
  2. Push Win + R. Type %SystemDrive%\DS3 Server\Binaries\Driver Installer.exe and Select OK.
  3. Enable the Bluetooth checkbox. Select Uninstall.

Step Two

  1. Push Win + R. Type %SystemDrive%\DS3 Server\Binaries\Bluetooth\Driver\ and Select OK.
  2. Right Click on YourDevice.inf
  3. Select Rename. Copy the Name. Write Down the Name.

Step Three

  1. Push Win + R. Type DevMgmt.msc and Select OK.
  2. Open the Bluetooth Devices. Open the Universal Serial Bus Devices.
  3. Find Your Device. Use the Name from Step Two.

Step Four

  1. Right Click on Your Device. Select Uninstall Device.
  2. Enable Delete the Driver Software for This Device. Select Uninstall.

Step Five

  1. Detatch the PlayStation 3 Controller.
  2. Detatch the Bluetooth Dongle.
  3. Restart the Computer.

Problem Solving

Controller Not Doing Anything

Step One

  1. Detatch the PlayStation 3 Controller.
  2. Insert the PlayStation 3 Controller.

Step Two

  1. If the Controller Doesn't Work. See Removing the Drivers.
  2. After Removing the Drivers. See Installing the Controller.

Restarting the Controller

Instructions

  1. Hold L1 + R1 + Center PlayStation Button until the lights are Off.
  2. Push the Center PlayStation Button to turn it On.
