Smaller File Size for Transparent Images

Instructions

  1. On the Top Left. Select File, Export, Export As.
  2. Enable Small File (8 Bit).

Step One

  1. Download the DDS File Format Plugin Archive.
  2. See How to Extract Archives.
  3. Extract the files to the Main Installation Folder.

Step Two

  1. Open Photoshop.
  2. On the Top Left. Select File, Save As.
  3. In the Center. Under Save as Type. Select DDS.

  3. Disable Auto Select.

  2. Disable Always Create Smart Objects When Placing.
